There are a few things that you should be doing every morning that can really speed up your metabolism and make a huge difference in your weight loss.
I know many of you eat breakfast each morning, and I know many of you don't. Whether you are too busy, or just lazy. And for the record, its always lazy, you just haven't admitted it to yourself.
Obviously we need to eat breakfast every morning, skipping it could be very detrimental for fat loss. But there are a few other tricks that take practically zero time at all.
When you get up in the morning, go drink a glass of water. Pretty much walk straight to the faucet and drink an entire glass of water. Not just a sip. Sounds dumb and trivial, but any added boost I can get, I'll take it. And you can't do this one time per week and expect it to blow you away with results, do it every morning.
And make sure you get in a complete protein, this will keep your metabolism going for a longer period on time. Just eating oatmeal or cereal can spike your insulin levels and won't keep you full as long, which means your metabolism will start to slow down. And spiking your insulin can also cause you to store fat faster. Eggs or a protein smoothies work well. If you do eat oatmeal, I would just make sure you get in a protein with it too. And as a general rule of thumb, don't eat cereal.
If you are going to try and tell me you are too busy to eat breakfast. I will seriously question your dedication. It only takes 5-15 minutes to prepare a breakfast, maybe a little bit longer until you get the routine down. Whether it's a shake or an omelet, it doesn't matter. But if you can't get out of bed 15 minutes earlier, then I will tell you its not that important to you.
